Earth Mumma Creative Arts Studio, Gallery & Workshops - Coming Soon

Inside this repurposed timber barn at The Eco Retreat, we’ve creating a new studio for art making and a gallery to showcase local artists, students and our community art projects we're involved in. We will also offer workshops and retreats for creativity, contemplation and nature connection. The Earth Mumma Creative Art Studio and Gallery will be a multi-disciplinary workshop studio for painting, sculpture, textiles, digital, printmaking and woodwork. It will be a relaxed space designed for messy experimentation, community connections and creation. The Earth Mumma studio will be home to a small collective of artists. Please be patient while we work on the project throughout 2026-27. We will establish a light-filled space where the aged timber walls catch the afternoon sun and the studio opens up to a native wild flower garden with the wilderness of the Otways ranges as the backdrop.

Our workshops and retreats we will explore creative arts for well-being, social connection and artivism (art with a social and environmental message). Marion Miller is a practicing artist and creative arts and eco therapist, coach and mindfulness teacher, interested in facilitating creative practice for well-being and self expression. She hopes to  eventually curate exhibitions at the Earth Mumma gallery and host an online shop at The Eco Retreat.

Marion believes art and creativity should be available and affordable for all to enjoy. Her nature-based approach to creative arts workshop and retreats support art making as an intuitive and joyful process to help us embody well-being, reclaim our authentic nature connection expressed with hearts and hand made, beautiful artefacts.

We acknowledge the Wadawurrung people, with the Gulidjan and Gadubanud of the Kulin Nations as the Traditional Custodians of the lands, who have strived to retain their identity and cultures through more than two hundred years of dispossession and colonisation. While living, working, practicing and learning with these beautiful lands and waters we are committed to recognising how these lands were never ceded.
