Mindfulness Meditation Australia

A Monday Morning Somatic Meditation Series with Marion Miller
Start your week with intentional presence, fresh air, and community, this is way to create a retreat rhythm in your own home or garden. Before we begin, pour a warm drink into your favourite mug and, if possible, step outside into your garden, onto a balcony, or sit near a bright window. Our time together starts with a gentle, nature-inspired somatic meditation to help you land fully in your body and connect with the natural world around you. We will close our hour with an open coaching conversation designed to ground your intentions, integrate the practice, and set a supportive tone for the week ahead. Whether you are a seasoned meditator or completely new to the practice, you are warmly invited to join us.

What is Nature-based Mindfulness Meditation?
Nature-based mindfulness meditation is a practice of remembering who we truly are. It is the integration of deep, sensory presence with the principles of mindfulness and ecology—recognising that our inner well-being is completely inseparable from the well-being of the earth. Rather than looking for an escape from daily life, this practice invites us to turn toward the living world as a mirror, a teacher, and a sanctuary.
By stepping into intentional awareness outdoors, we quiet the analytical mind and open our senses to the elements. We begin to listen not just to ourselves, but to the land we stand on and the nature we are immersed in. This approach treats mindfulness not as a passive tool for self-soothing, but as an embodied, relational practice. It is about waking up to our natural state of belonging, cultivating inner resilience, and honouring the sacred reciprocity between human and nature.
Cultivating Belonging with Online Sessions & Immersion Retreats
Whether you are looking to weave intentional presence into your current routine or want to immerse yourself fully in the landscape, these spaces are designed to support your journey:
-
Online Practice Sessions: Bring the grounding presence of the earth into your everyday life. Our live, guided online meditation classes offer a supportive community space for busy Australians to pause, breathe, and rest in awareness right where you are.
-
Immersive Retreats in Nature: For those ready to step into a deeper rhythm of rest and reflection. Held in the serene landscape of Boonah farm in the Otways, our mindfulness meditation retreats offer Australians a dedicated time for silent walking meditation, elemental nature connection, and deep rest, allowing you to re-align with the natural cycles of the earth.
A Practice of Sacred Reciprocity
Eco-Dharma teaches us that we do not practice in a vacuum. When we quiet our minds and offer our full, heart-centered presence to the earth, the boundary between the internal and external dissolves. We remember that we are not merely standing in nature; we are nature defending, expressing, protecting and healing itself.
